The Patum de Berga is a traditional and popular festival that is celebrated in the city of Barga, capital of the Berguedá region during the celebration of the Corpus Christi festival. This festival represents a fight between Moors and Christians. It consists of various representations in the street and with citizen participation, in which the presence of fire and pyrotechnics stands out. It was declared a 'Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity' by UNESCO and for this reason permanently chosen Intangible Cultural Heritage of Spain.
